Bruker: Innovation with Integrity

Magnetic Resonance
In this Issue

Welcome to the latest edition of our magnetic resonance eNews, featuring the most recent information from a very busy spring season of events, publications and product announcements. We continue to unveil new technologies and techniques to tackle structural biology questions and the increasingly important study of IDPs. In parallel new NMR productivity tools for the pharmaceutical industry are available including a new flow tube solution for InsightMR reaction monitoring.

3 Is The New 5
New 3mm 800 MHz TCI CryoProbe is advantageous for high-field biomolecular applications, when sample volumes are limited and sample salt concentrations are in the physiological range. Achieving more with less
Proton Detection in Biological Samples under Ultra-Fast Magic Angle Spinning
In collaboration with Guido Pintacuda and co-workers, Bruker BioSpin presents three basic 1H-detected pulse programs that allow initial protein backbone assignment under fast MAS. Read the application note
Speeding Up Protein NMR
Recording all required NMR experiments for a protein structure calculation, dynamic analysis or even backbone assignment can be very time consuming. By using a combination of different sampling and reconstruction techniques for data acquisition and processing, the time required to record almost all experimental data needed to characterize a protein can be shortened significantly. Read the application note
Real-Time Data Analysis and Acquisition Control – InsightMR
You’ve heard about the software, now learn about its partner- the InsightMR flow tube which enables online monitoring of chemical reaction in real-time under real conditions. This is achieved by fast and continuous transfer of reaction mixtures from a reaction vessel into the flow tube, located in the NMR probe, with temperature control from the vessel to the probe. Parallel NMR Experiments
Parallel NMR with multi-receiver acquisition is well suited for structure verification or elucidation of small molecules in drug development and discovery, as well as for higher dimensionality experiments for studying globular proteins or IDPs. The AVANCE III HD now enables parallel acquisition NMR spectroscopy. See some examples
Shuttle NMR Relaxometry
Combining relaxation data at various fields with high-resolution NMR data provides information on protein dynamics associated with structural information. The high-resolution shuttle NMR relaxometer is a work-in-progress accessory to high-resolution NMR spectrometers, and enables the study of protein structure and dynamics. Read how to get to these results
Ensuring The Authencity of Food
Food quality and authenticity is a growing concern and there is significant need for a straightforward, reproducible method of analysis. The fully automated FoodScreener offers high quality, cost efficient results. Read more
Performing Your Analysis of NMR Data
Dynamics Center 2.3 offers the unique option to set all parameters from external programs at runtime and trigger a complete analysis. This allows a flexible integration of the software into various automation environments. More to read
